One of the greatest advantages of partnering with us is our proven business model that addresses every aspect of clinic growth. That’s because we’re able to not only lower their operating costs but also increase their patient caseload at the same time.
Projections show that over the next five years, outpatient physical therapy clinic industry revenue is forecast to increase at an annualized rate of 2.4% to $3.1 billion in 2021. This is due to an increased demand for services from an aging population and growth in disposable income. The latest results from Statistics Canada support this forecast, showing that people aged 65+ is the fastest-growing age group and they’re living longer than ever. Hinting at a growing and steady need for therapy to manage chronic conditions many provinces are increasing their healthcare expenditure to address this growing need while also expanding the scope of care physiotherapists can provide. All of these elements signal the continued stability of the market as well as increased growth.
You get more patients to grow your caseload from several sources when you join the Assist program. Patient referrals come from our corporate partners, insurance partners, paid advertising, clinic directory listings, doctor marketing, our Canadian-based call centre, and organically through our patient-facing websites.
