Do I need Charting+ to use Engage? Why?

Yes, Engage uses information from Charting+ to craft journeys specifically for each patient. The information you put into Charting+ tells Engage when to sends emails and which emails should be sent.

Can I control which patients get Engage emails?

Yes, simply log into your Clinic Portal and click on the “charting” tab. There you will see a list of your current patients. You can sort, search, and filter, then select which patients you would like to start a journey.

Does Charting+ work when I’m offline?

Charting+ is a standalone web application that requires an internet connection to operate

Can my patients unsubscribe?

Yes, your patients can unsubscribe at any time. Your patient list will automatically update so you never have to worry about sending unwanted emails through Engage.

Are these emails Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL) Compliant?

Yes, Engage email marketing is fully CASL compliant.

What is the difference between Engage and simply syncing your email list with Mailchimp or Constant Contact?

Engage is fully automated and completely integrated with Charting+, it takes your charting information and uses it to write patient specific emails, plan when to send them, and send them.

Other software companies provide you with a list of email addresses, you then have to upload that list to either Mailchimp or Constant Contact. You then need to research your province and regulatory college advertising guidelines to make sure your content is compliant. Then you can finally plan your campaign, craft and build the content, and execute the email marketing yourself.

Engage does all of that for you though. With Engage you just turn it on and get CASL compliant, regulatory college compliant, high quality, relevant, and customized patient communication with no added effort on your part.
